Prof. Michael Zuckerman
HistoricusHij promoveerde in 1967 aan Harvard op de geschiedenis van de Amerikaanse samenleving. Na zijn promotie werkte hij tussen 1967 en 1984 als universitair docent aan de Universiteit van Pennsylvania, waar hij in 1985 hoogleraar werd. Ook bekleedde hij gastleerstoelen aan de Universiteit van Oregon, de John Hopkins Universiteit en de Universiteit van Jerusalem. Hij schreef vele boeken en artikelen, waaronder Friends and Neighbors: Group Life in America's First Plural Society(1982) en samen met prof. dr. Willem Koops Beyond the Century of the Child: Cultural History and Developmental Psychology (2003).

Michael Zuckerman (1939) is Professor of American history at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He got a Ph.D. in American History at Harvard University. Afterwards, he worked as a assistant and associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania, after which he was named Professor. He also served as guest lecturer at the University of Oregon, the John Hopkins University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He wrote many books and articles, including Friends and Neighbors: Group Life in America's First Plural Society (1982) and, together with prof. dr. Willem Koops,Beyond the Century of the Child: Cultural History and Developmental Psychology (2003).
