From autobiography to selfie: how we tell our life story

Grip op tijd
Have social media changed the way we document our lives? Literary scholar Dr Anna Poletti (UU) on old and new forms of self-expression.

From Snapchat to Instagram stories: we increasingly document our lives online. The videos and pictures we post capture moments in time and together they are a kind of autobiography. How do these new forms of self-expression relate to older ones, such as the memoir or diary? And what does the way we present our lives online say about who we are? With literary scholar Dr Anna Poletti (UU).

In collaboration with the faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, faculty of Science and the faculty of Humanities (UU).
